Role Description The Electrical & Instrumentation Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, OH. The engineer will design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems for air pollution control and biomass drying projects, including preparation of single-line diagrams, control schematics, cable schedules, and bill of materials. Daily responsibilities include selecting and sizing field instruments, developing control philosophies, preparing layout drawings, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.





The role involves collaborating closely with process, mechanical, and project teams, supporting installation and commissioning, and providing technical guidance to site teams. The engineer will also review vendor documents, assist in troubleshooting design-related issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and documentation.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to design and analyze power distribution and control systems.
- Hands-on expertise in Instrumentation and Process Control for industrial systems, including selection, specification, and integration of field instruments.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation issues in design, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Experience with industrial automation platforms (PLC/DCS), control panels, and related standards is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and develop engineering drawings using CAD/3D tools and familiarity with relevant IEC/IEEE/IS codes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional project teams.
- Prior experience in pollution control, power, or process industry projects is an advantage.
