Power Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for the development and testing of advanced technologies for Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging applications. These include design and implementation of recent converter topologies, modulation scheme and control for bi-direction AC/DC converters and inverters, isolated DC-DC converters like LLC resonant converter, dual active bridge (DAB) converter, phase shifted full bridge (PSFB) converter etc. Modeling of power electronics circuits in MATLAB /SIMPLIS and developing control algorithm is also part of the job.
Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of Power Electronics, Circuit Theory, Control System, Analog and Digital electronics etc.
- Familiarity in simulation environments like MATLAB/Simulink, Spice.
- High frequency magnetic design using electromagnetic simulation tool like Ansys Maxwell etc. will be a plus.
- Familiarity in schematic and PCB design related tools
- Knowledge in embedded C, VHDL/ Verilog
Academic Background:
Master's in electrical engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years
