JKR Consulting & Services is looking for an experienced Electrical Draftsman to join our team in Bhubaneswar, Odisha .

? Position: Electrical Draftsman

? Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha

? Experience: 2–5 Years

? Employment: Full-Time

? Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed electrical 2D drawings using AutoCAD based on engineering designs and project requirements.
- Develop electrical layouts for lighting, power, emergency power, earthing, lightning protection, and cable routing .
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) , schematic diagrams, panel layouts, and electrical equipment layouts.
- Develop and update Electrical Shop Drawings and construction drawings.
- Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, structural, and MEP services to identify and resolve clashes.
- Prepare cable tray, conduit, cable routing, and containment layouts .
- Incorporate design changes, site modifications, and client comments into drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and standards .
- Prepare drawing revisions, maintain drawing registers, and ensure proper document control.




- Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, BIM Modelers, MEP Coordinators, and site teams .
- Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, annotations, symbols, and constructability before submission.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings based on site conditions and approved changes.
- Support the project team in resolving drawing-related technical and coordination issues.

? Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical drafting.
- Good understanding of building electrical services and MEP coordination .
- Knowledge of electrical layouts, SLDs, cable routing, containment, lighting, power, and earthing systems.
- Ability to read and understand Electrical Engineering drawings and specifications .
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.

? Qualification Diploma / ITI / Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
