Job Description Electrical / Electronics Engineer – TR Module Testing

Role Overview

Ananth Technologies is looking for an Electrical/Electronics Engineer for testing and validation of Transmit/Receive (TR) Modules used in radar and defence electronic systems. The role involves functional testing, RF performance verification, troubleshooting and documentation of TR Modules and associated electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

Perform testing and validation of TR Modules, RF modules and associated electronic assemblies.

Conduct functional, electrical and RF tests as per approved test procedures.

Measure parameters such as output power, gain, frequency response, phase, noise figure, VSWR and current consumption.

Operate RF and electronic test equipment including Vector Network Analyzers,

Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes and Digital

Multimeters.

Perform module-level troubleshooting and identify failures in RF, power supply,





control and interface circuits.

Support environmental and reliability testing, including temperature and burn-in tests.

Maintain test results, inspection records and test reports.

Coordinate with Design, Production and Quality teams for resolution of test failures and production issues.

Support development and improvement of test setups, fixtures and automated test systems.

Candidate Profile

2–6 years of experience in electronics/RF testing, preferably in radar, defence,

aerospace or communication systems.

Basic understanding of RF and microwave electronics.

Familiarity with RF measurements and laboratory test equipment.

Ability to read circuit diagrams, schematics and test procedures.

Positive troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Experience with TR Modules, AESA radar electronics, RF power amplifiers or microwave modules will be an advantage.

Knowledge of automated testing using LabVIEW, Python or similar tools is desirable.
