Role & responsibilities

1. Account Growth & Revenue

- Own the overall growth and revenue targets for all e-commerce marketplaces and D2C channels.
- Develop and execute account-wise growth strategies to increase GMV, orders, AOV, and conversion.
- Identify new growth opportunities through new products, categories, marketplaces, and customer segments.
- Create monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans and ensure achievement of targets.
- Analyze account performance and take corrective actions to close revenue gaps.

2. Marketplace Management

- Independently manage and grow accounts on platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Meesho, Tata CLiQ, Nykaa Fashion, etc.
- Maintain robust understanding of marketplace algorithms, ranking, visibility, promotions, and seller metrics.
- Manage account health, seller performance, pricing, promotions, returns, cancellations, and customer experience.
- Coordinate with marketplace account managers for business growth, campaigns, issues, and opportunities.

3. Performance Marketing & Advertising

- Plan, execute, and optimize marketplace advertising campaigns.
- Manage budgets across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, display ads, and other available ad formats.
- Track ROAS, ACOS/TACOS, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, and advertising-attributed sales.
- Identify high-performing and underperforming campaigns and continuously optimize them.
- Ensure advertising spend contributes to profitable revenue growth, not just topline sales.

4. Product & Catalog Management

- Manage product listings, titles, descriptions, keywords, images, attributes, size charts, and product content.
- Improve product discoverability and organic ranking through SEO and keyword optimization.
- Identify slow-moving,



high-potential, and best-selling SKUs.
- Develop strategies for new product launches and improve the performance of existing products.

5. Pricing & Promotion Strategy

- Monitor competitor pricing, offers, discounts, and assortment.
- Develop pricing strategies based on competition, margins, demand, and marketplace dynamics.
- Plan and execute marketplace events, sales, deals, coupons, and promotions.
- Ensure promotions are commercially viable and aligned with profitability targets.

6. Inventory & Demand Planning

- Work closely with the merchandising, purchase, production, and warehouse teams to maintain optimum inventory.
- Forecast SKU-level demand based on historical sales, seasonality, promotions, and trends.
- Minimize stock-outs on high-selling products.
- Identify excess and slow-moving inventory and create liquidation/growth strategies.
- Maintain healthy inventory levels across different marketplaces.

7. Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

- Build and maintain daily/weekly/monthly performance dashboards.

- Inventory

- Marketplace fees
- Convert data into actionable decisions rather than just preparing reports.
- Identify the top 20% of products, customers,



channels, and campaigns driving growth.

8. Profitability Management

- Track contribution margin at account, category, product, and campaign levels.
- Analyze marketplace commissions, logistics charges, advertising costs, discounts, returns, and other deductions.
- Ensure growth is achieved with sustainable margins.
- Identify loss-making SKUs/accounts and recommend corrective actions.

9. Conversion & Customer Experience

- Improve product page conversion through better images, content, reviews, pricing, and offers.
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews to identify product/content issues.
- Reduce cancellations, returns, negative feedback, and order defects.
- Work with the operations team to improve fulfillment and customer experience.

10. New Marketplace & Channel Expansion

- Evaluate and onboard new marketplaces and e-commerce channels.
- Identify emerging platforms and opportunities relevant to the brand.
- Develop launch plans for new channels, including assortment, pricing, inventory, advertising, and promotions.
- Build scalable processes for managing multiple accounts.

11. Cross-Functional Leadership

- Coordinate with:

- Sales

- Marketing

- Purchase

- Warehouse

- Finance

- Customer service

- Technology
- Ensure marketplace requirements are communicated internally and executed on time.
- Lead internal teams/agency partners involved in e-commerce operations.
