The role in one paragraph

MoveInSync's Manufacturing cohort is one of the fastest-growing bets in the ION business a vertical sales motion selling employee transportation software into plants, factories, and industrial customers across India. We're looking for someone to own the day-to-day sales engine: coach the four-rep team, drive the pipeline and forecast, close large enterprise manufacturing logos alongside them, and build the playbook that scales this motion over the next 2–3 years. You'll report to the VP, Growth and own the sales P&L; across manufacturing and Tamil Nadu cohorts.

What you'll do

Own the new-sales motion end-to-end

Drive the annual sales target. You'll own the weekly forecast, pipeline hygiene, deal reviews, and rep-level coaching. This is a first-line sales leadership role — you'll be in the deals with your reps, not managing from a spreadsheet.

Close large Manufacturing logos personally

Some deals need senior presence. Reliance, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra-scale accounts — you'll co-own the executive relationships and close the large ones alongside your reps. The current team can run mid-market deals well; the top of the funnel needs someone who's credible in a plant head's or CFO's office.

Build the sales playbook The Manufacturing motion is still relatively young. There's a real gap in a repeatable playbook — ICP, qualification, discovery, competitive positioning, negotiation rails. This is your landing project: build the playbook, train the team on it, make the motion executable.

Coach and grow the rep team

Four reps today. Weekly 1:1s, deal coaching, ramp planning, career development. Some are experienced, some are earlier in their careers.

Your job is to make each of them better than they are today.

What we're looking for

Manufacturing-buyer experience. You've sold into plants, factories, and industrial customers. You understand how manufacturing procurement works — the vendor empanelment, the multi-stakeholder decisions, the long cycles, the operational-not-experience framing. You've navigated plant heads, transport managers, HR, and corporate offices as separate constituencies. Software experience is a plus; industrial services or capital equipment experience into plants counts strongly.

Enterprise sales muscle. You've run long, procurement-driven, multi-stakeholder enterprise cycles. You can hold a room with senior client stakeholders — CFO, plant head, promoter — as their peer, not their vendor. You've closed large deals where the technical work sits with someone else and your job is executive alignment and commercial closure.

People leader, not lone wolf. You've managed sales reps before — hired, coached, grown, and occasionally exited them. You know the difference between doing the deal and coaching someone else to do the deal. You've built at least one sales team or motion from a smaller version of itself.

Playbook builder. You've built repeatable sales motions — ICP, playbook, qualification framework,

deal-review cadence — not just executed on someone else's. If you show us a playbook you've shipped, we'll be interested.

P&L; instinct. You think in unit economics, not just top-line. You care about margin, deal profitability, and the cost of acquisition, not just closures.

What matters less to us

We're not filtering on years of experience or specific title history. If you're 8 years in with the right pattern, we're interested. If you're 15 years in with the wrong pattern, we're not. What matters is whether you've done this shape of work well.

We're not filtering on specific industry sub-verticals. Auto, pharma, electronics, chemicals, engineering, industrial services — all count. What matters is you've sold to industrial buyers and understand how they think.

We're not filtering on SaaS experience specifically. Great industrial-services sellers, capital equipment sellers, and enterprise B2B leaders often outperform SaaS-only sellers in this motion.

Why this role, why now

MoveInSync is heading toward NSE listing in 2027. The Manufacturing cohort is one of the differentiated growth stories in the ION revenue mix — vertical depth, a growing customer base, a repeatable land-and-expand motion. You'd join at the moment this cohort transitions to a real sales function.

You'd report to a VP who's been building the vertical for two years, has a defined operating model, has structured KAM/TAM coverage across every named account, and knows exactly what a excellent sales partner looks like. This is not a “figure out what to do” role — it's a “run this motion well” role, with real scope to shape how it grows next.
