Role Description: As director of artificial intelligence at Pexyl, you will lead research, workflows and deployment for our proprietary video production platform--The core engine powering AI generated films, episodic storytelling, avatar models and speech models. This is not a traditional engineering management role.

We are looking for a builder who has successfully shipped complex AI systems into production and thrives on solving problems at the intersection of artificial intelligence, distributed systems and media technology. We require candidates with deep expertise in agentic and generative AI and strong skillsets in fine-tuning LLMs, RAG pipelines, MCP servers and models such as text-to-video.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science,



including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Expertise in Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition, with experience designing, training, and deploying models at scale.
- Proficiency in Data Science and Analytics, including statistical analysis, data modeling, and interpreting complex datasets for business impact.
- Experience leading AI or data-driven teams, with a track record of delivering production-grade AI solutions.
- Advanced programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, or similar), and familiarity with common ML frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and MLOps practices for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business recommendations.
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and regulatory considerations relevant to AI-driven products.
- Experience working in or leading AI initiatives in a rapid-paced tech or product-centric organization is highly beneficial.
