JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for Mid to Senior level Platform / DevOps Engineer talent based in Hyderabad to join our Financial Crime team. The role is focused on building, optimising and operating cloud-based data engineering platforms that underpin Financial Crime capabilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, build and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and data platforms, primarily on AWS.
- Write and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Shell and/or Python.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support continuous deployment and delivery.
- Deploy and operate Apache Spark workloads on EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
- Apply a robust understanding of data concepts, design patterns and algorithms to platform solutions.
- Champion DevOps practices, including automated testing, monitoring and operational excellence.




- Drive automation of processes and workflows across the engineering lifecycle.
- Collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders to communicate problems and solutions clearly.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and uphold a DevOps mindset across the team.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Hands-on experience with cloud-based development, particularly AWS.
- Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Shell and/or Python.
- Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience running Apache Spark on EKS or equivalent container-orchestrated platforms.
- Good understanding of data concepts, design patterns and algorithms.
- Broad engineering competencies spanning DevOps, infrastructure and testing.
- Firm grasp of Agile methodologies with a drive to automate processes and workflows.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with both technical and business audiences.
- Enthusiasm for learning and adopting new technologies.

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience with Hadoop, Elasticsearch, Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Domain knowledge in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and Financial Crime.
- Experience with data migration and data analysis.
