Summary

UST is looking for a skilled Python Developer with hands-on experience in Python development and working knowledge of AWS services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and business-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain applications using Python.
- Write clean, reusable, efficient, and reliable code following industry best practices.
- Design and develop scalable applications and backend solutions.
- Work with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain applications in cloud environments.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
- Debug and resolve application issues to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and coding standards.
- Support CI/CD and cloud deployment activities as required.

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts.
- Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and API integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Git/version control systems.
- Working knowledge of AWS services, particularly:
- EC2
- S3
- Lambda
- IAM
- RDS




- CloudWatch
- Basic understanding of CloudFormation

- Understanding of application deployment in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Experience with cloud-based application development or deployment is preferred.
