About the Role

We are looking for a creative and technically strong Design Engineer to join our R&D; team. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing industrial machines, equipment, and mechanical systems, with a strong focus on innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for machine design, the ability to think creatively, and a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, processes, and design approaches.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop industrial machines, equipment, and mechanical systems for new product development and existing product improvement.
- Prepare 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Develop concepts based on functional requirements, customer needs, and project specifications.
- Perform design calculations and select suitable materials, components, and mechanisms.
- Modify and optimize existing machine designs for better performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
- Work closely with R&D;, Production, Project, Purchase, and Quality teams for successful implementation of designs.
- Identify design-related issues and develop practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Participate in prototype development, testing, trials, and design validation.
- Support troubleshooting of machine/equipment-related technical issues.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, BOMs, and design changes.
- Continuously explore new technologies,



mechanisms, materials, and design methods to improve products.
- Take ownership of assigned design projects from concept development to final implementation.

Preferred Industry Background Candidates with experience or exposure to the following industries will be preferred:

- Mining Equipment
- Material Handling Equipment
- Conveying Systems / Conveyors
- Industrial Machinery
- Process Equipment
- Heavy Engineering / Machinery Manufacturing
- Feed Mill / Agro-Industrial Machinery or similar equipment manufacturing industries

Required Technical Skills

- Robust knowledge of Mechanical Machine Design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of 3D modelling, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and fabrication
- Basic knowledge of machine design calculations
- Understanding of materials, mechanical components, and engineering standards
- Knowledge of BOM, GD&T; and design documentation will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
