Position Overview

Heblox Private Limited is seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Design Engineer Lithium-Ion Battery Pack & Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to lead the design and engineering of advanced battery pack solutions for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), renewable energy, and grid-connected applications.

The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in battery pack architecture, mechanical and electrical system design, thermal management, structural engineering, high-voltage safety, and manufacturing engineering. The role requires expertise in developing complete battery pack designs from concept through production while ensuring compliance with global industry standards.

Experience

Minimum 57 years of relevant experience.

Proven experience in Lithium-Ion Battery Pack Design and Utility-Scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Experience in battery manufacturing, prototype development, and utility-scale renewable energy projects will be preferred.

Educational Qualification

B.Tech / M.Tech in:

Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

- Battery Pack Design & Engineering
- Design complete Lithium-Ion Battery Pack architecture for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Develop battery module, rack, cabinet,



and containerized energy storage layouts.
- Design battery enclosures, module structures, mounting systems, busbars, cable routing, and electrical interfaces.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- Utility-Scale BESS Design
- Develop complete utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System layouts.
- Design battery containers, electrical rooms, cable routing, HVAC integration, fire protection interfaces, and installation layouts.
- Prepare system architecture drawings for renewable energy integration.

- Thermal Management System
- Design advanced battery cooling systems including:

- Air Cooling

- Liquid Cooling

- Hybrid Cooling
- Perform thermal simulations and heat dissipation analysis.
- Optimize battery temperature distribution for maximum performance and safety.
- Mechanical & Structural Design
- Design battery pack structures considering:

- Mechanical strength

- Vibration resistance

- Shock loading

- IP protection

- Structural durability
- Perform structural analysis and design optimization.
- Electrical Design & Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

- Prepare detailed

- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

- Electrical Layouts

- Wiring Schematics

- Cable Schedules





- Interconnection Drawings
- Develop and maintain engineering designs using:

- AutoCAD

- AutoCAD Electrical

- SolidWorks

- CATIA

- Creo

- Autodesk Inventor

- Siemens NX

- Revit (preferred)

- ANSYS

- Product Development
- Develop battery pack concepts from design through manufacturing.
- Support prototype development and pilot production.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams.
- Perform design verification.
- Conduct DFMEA and design risk assessments.
