About the Role

Ray Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager – Accounts & Finance to join our Finance team at Yelahanka Recent Town, Bengaluru.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in accounting, statutory compliance, costing, MIS, working capital, inventory, and financial analysis. Candidates from the Pharmaceutical industry, particularly API or Formulation manufacturing, will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review monthly cost sheets, costing analysis, inventory valuation, margin analysis, and inventory ageing.
- Review General Ledger (GL) accounts, agreements, contracts, work orders, and supporting documents, ensuring correct GST and TDS treatment.
- Handle GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliances, including statutory notices and coordination with consultants.
- Coordinate with internal auditors and various departments for audit requirements and timely closure of audit observations.
- Liaise with banks for Bank Guarantees (BGs), term loans, documentation, renewals, and other banking requirements.
- Monitor working capital, including receivables, payables, inventory, advances, and cash-flow requirements.
- Follow up on customer receivables, billing, and settlement of long-outstanding advances.
- Coordinate with SCM,



Operations, Sales, Stores, and other departments for timely accounting and settlement of outstanding items.
- Prepare and review MIS, financial analysis, costing, and variance analysis for management decision-making.
- Prepare monthly stock audit statements and coordinate for inventory reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies.
- Handle government incentives and subsidy-related matters, including applications, documentation, coordination with authorities, and tracking of claims.
- Ensure proper accounting controls, documentation, and statutory compliance.

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Candidates with API or Formulation manufacturing experience will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, costing, inventory accounting, working capital, MIS, and financial analysis.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
