A Deputy Manager of Accounts manages day-to-day accounting operations, oversees financial reporting, and supports month-end or year-end book closures

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Reporting & Book Closure: Oversee general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly, quarterly, or annual financial closures.
- Audit Coordination: Manage internal and external statutory audits, ensuring all records and compliance schedules are audit-ready.
- Taxation & Compliance: Handle direct and indirect taxes, including GST, TDS filings, and statutory regulations.
- Team Supervision: Guide, mentor, and assign tasks to junior accountants and team members.
- Budgeting & Analysis: Support budget preparation, variance analysis (budget vs. actual), and management information system (MIS) reporting





Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CA-Inter, Cost Accountant, or a Master’s degree in Commerce or Finance (m.com).
- Experience: Generally 15 to 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, or auditing roles.
- Technical Skills: Robust proficiency in ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, or Tally) and advanced MS Excel.
- Knowledge: Sound understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS/IFRS) and local tax laws
