Job Role

- Dental Assistant

- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations, fillings, extractions, and other dental procedures.

- Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and materials before and after procedures.

- Ensure patients are comfortably seated and explain basic procedure-related information as directed.

- Take and develop dental X-rays as instructed by the dentist.

- Follow infection-control protocols, including disinfecting equipment and work areas.

- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with updating patient charts.

- Mix dental materials such as impression materials, cements, and filling materials.

- Provide post-operative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist.

- Stock and maintain dental supplies in treatment rooms and sterilization areas.

- Support front-desk activities when required,



including scheduling appointments and answering calls.

Qualifications

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting is preferred.

- Prior experience in a dental setting is an advantage but not mandatory.

- Knowledge of dental instruments, terminology, and sterilization procedures.
