Role Summary

- Support fund accounting, financial reporting, investor reporting, and operational activities across private equity funds, co-investment vehicles, SPVs, GP entities, and management companies.
- Perform accounting, reconciliations, capital activity processing, and quarter-end close within a complex alternative investment environment.
- Partner with finance, fund administration, audit, tax, compliance, and investor relations teams to ensure accurate reporting and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and post journal entries independently using supporting schedules, transaction documentation, and bank statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding reconciling items.
- Review and process fund and management company invoices and validate expense allocations.
- Record accruals, prepaid amortization, management fees, and other period-end accounting adjustments.
- Track and record capital calls, distributions, commitments, and investor transactions.
- Support Investran reconciliations and maintain integrity between accounting and reporting systems.
- Perform end-to-end quarter-end and year-end close activities.
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with reporting requirements.
- Review financial statements for accuracy, tie-outs, cross-references, and presentation consistency.
- Support preparation of investor reporting packages, capital account statements, and quarterly reporting deliverables.
- Assist with regulatory, compliance, tax, and audit reporting requirements including standard reporting packages.
- Manage investor queries, maintain reporting trackers,



and support ad hoc accounting and operational project

Required Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting, Fund Administration, Fund Operations, or Alternative Investments.
- Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, partnership accounting, capital activity, and investor allocations.
- Proven experience preparing journal entries independently using supporting documentation and bank statements.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end quarter-end close and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with reconciliations, expense allocations, accruals, and general ledger accounting.
- Exposure to investor reporting, fund reporting, and audit support activities.
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with Investran.
- Exposure to flagship buyout funds, co-investment structures, SPVs, and management company accounting.
- Experience supporting investor reporting and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Experience working with fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and investor relations teams.
- Exposure to process improvement and automation initiatives.
