We are looking for a DB2 DBA/Architect with strong expertise across Mainframe DB2 and DB2 LUW on AWS to drive database modernization as part of the Mainframe Exit program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop DB2 Mainframe DB2 LUW/AWS database migration and modernization.
- Drive DDL conversion/enhancement, data migration, security and performance optimization.
- Define HA, DR and resiliency strategy for cloud databases.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the Mainframe Exit core team, AWS and implementation partners.
- Drive technical decisions and collaborate effectively with global, multi-level stakeholders.
Key Skills
- Strong hands-on DB2 z/OS and DB2 LUW expertise.
- Positive understanding of AWS database/cloud architecture.
- Experience in large-scale database migration/modernization.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and global collaboration skills.
