Specialist - Data Sciences Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join the Mondelez Computer Assisted Ordering CAO program The role involves developing enhancing and maintaining predictive models that generate accurate order recommendations using retailer POS inventory and sales data The candidate will collaborate with business product engineering and data teams to deliver scalable AIML solutions that improve forecast accuracy and support replenishment decisions Key Responsibilities Develop validate and deploy machine learning models for demand forecasting and order quantity prediction Analyze largescale retailer sales inventory promotional and operational datasets to derive actionable insights Build and optimize forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques Collaborate with Data Engineers to design and operationalize endtoend ML pipelines Perform feature engineering model training hyperparameter tuning and performance evaluation Monitor model performance and recommend enhancements to improve forecast accuracy and business outcomes Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions Document model assumptions methodologies and results for business consumption Support production deployments and troubleshooting of modelrelated issues Required Skills Strong handson experience in Python and SQL Experience with Machine Learning libraries such as Scikitlearn XGBoost LGBM Solid understanding of forecasting techniques regression models and timeseries analysis Experience handling large datasets in cloud environments Knowledge of Databricks SparkPySpark and MLflow Robust analytical problemsolving and statistical modeling skills Experience working with retail CPG supply chain demand planning or forecasting use cases Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders Preferred Skills Experience with Azure Databricks or GCP Databricks Knowledge of MLOps and CICD practices for model deployment Experience with demand forecasting replenishment inventory optimization or order recommendation systems Key Success Metrics Forecast Accuracy Improvement Model Stability and Production Reliability Business Adoption of Recommendations Timely Delivery of Analytics and ML Enhancements Primary Skills Data Science Python Machine Learning Forecasting Databricks SQL Secondary Skills PySpark Time Series Forecasting Retail Analytics GCP Cloud
