Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Practitioner with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building cloud-based data platforms, data transformation frameworks, and ETL/ELT processes while ensuring high data quality, security, and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using GCP services.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
- Develop data solutions using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, Dataproc, and Cloud Functions.
- Create and manage data models, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, data scientists, and application teams to understand data requirements.
- Optimize data processing workflows for performance and cost efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications Data Engineer Certification is Mandatory

Technical Skills





- Valuable exp with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience with:

- BigQuery

- Dataflow

- Pub/Sub

- Cloud Composer (Airflow)
- Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with Apache Spark and distributed data processing.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.

Database Skills

- Relational Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server.
- NoSQL Databases: MongoDB, Cassandra, Bigtable (preferred).

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Minimum 6months with GCP Services
- Certification: Google Cloud Data Practitioner .

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
- Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
