We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise data capabilities across diverse business domains. In this role, you will drive data and technology initiatives that support critical business outcomes by enabling seamless data integration, standardization, governance, and advanced analytics across multiple functional areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development and execution of data engineering initiatives that enhance business value through scalable and reliable data solutions.
- Design and implement data integration frameworks, ingestion pipelines, and data transformation processes that support enterprise-wide data accessibility and usability.
- Establish and maintain consistent data models, standards, and governance practices to ensure high-quality, trusted, and interoperable data assets.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, regional teams, and technology partners to define and prioritize data product roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives.
- Drive hands-on data engineering activities, including data integration, data operations, pipeline development, and solution implementation.
- Apply modern data engineering practices, including AI-enabled data processing, machine learning pipeline integration, and intelligent automation techniques.




- Act as a techno-functional leader, bridging business requirements with technical solutions and ensuring alignment between strategic goals and technology execution.
- Champion data governance initiatives, working closely with data owners and stakeholders to improve data quality, accessibility, compliance, and stewardship.
- Recommend and implement scalable methodologies, architectures, and tools that support long-term data platform growth and performance.
- Ensure data products meet high standards for completeness, harmonization, standardization, documentation, usability, and scalability.
- Contribute significantly to the design and evolution of enterprise data platforms and future-state data architecture.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for data engineering, guiding solution teams on data requirements, architecture decisions, and data availability strategies.
- Support Agile delivery practices, including prototyping, MVP development, and iterative solution implementation.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.




- 10+ years of experience in technology roles with strong expertise in data architecture, data engineering, and data operations.
- Proven ability to design and implement data ingestion, integration, storage, transformation, and reporting solutions across multiple business domains.
- Strong understanding of data integration patterns, data quality frameworks, and enterprise data management practices.
- Deep expertise in data governance, master data management, data harmonization, metadata management, data cataloging, and data architecture principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms and contemporary data ecosystems, including cloud data warehouses, lakehouse architectures, and large-scale data processing technologies.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, data transformation frameworks, and distributed data processing technologies.
- Experience working with data integration techniques such as APIs, streaming, and file-based ingestion methods.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization platforms is advantageous.
- Experience implementing data products using modern decentralized data management approaches such as data mesh or data fabric is preferred.
- Demonstrated success working within Agile environments and delivering scalable data solutions from concept to production.
