Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL, dbt, Apache Airflow, Python, and Git/GitHub. The candidate will be responsible for developing reliable data pipelines, building transformations, and troubleshooting data issues.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Apache Airflow. Build and manage dbt transformation models.
Work extensively with PostgreSQL for data processing and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with analytics and downstream teams.
Debug and resolve pipeline and data-quality issues independently.
Follow best practices for Git/GitHub, including branching, commits, pull requests, and conflict resolution.
Mandatory Skills
- PostgreSQL – Strong hands-on experience
- dbt – Model development and management
- Apache Airflow – Pipeline development and maintenance
- Python – Basic programming/scripting
- Git/GitHub – Strong practical knowledge is critical
