Business Intelligence Specialist Job Title: Data Engineer – Snowflake & dbt (5 Years Experience) Experience 5 Years Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Snowflake, dbt, cloud platforms, and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills, a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and experience building scalable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.

- Build and optimize ELT/ETL workflows for data ingestion and transformation.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance optimizations.
- Implement and maintain data models following best practices.
- Work with orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar schedulers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for deployment and version control of data engineering projects.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data platforms.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize existing data pipelines.





Required Skills - 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.

- Strong SQL programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool).
- Robust understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Dimensions, Facts, SCDs, etc.).
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and methodologies.
- Experience with orchestration/scheduling tools such as Airflow or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and tools.
- Experience working on any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Good understanding of data modelling and performance tuning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good to Have - Python programming.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
- Experience working with large-scale data platforms.

Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Snowflake and/or cloud certifications are an added advantage.
