Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on expertise in GCP, Google Cloud Dataflow, Apache Beam, Java, and BigQuery, with a solid understanding of batch and real-time data processing.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Dataflow and Apache Beam.

- Develop high-performance data processing pipelines using Java.

- Design and implement batch and real-time/streaming data processing solutions.

- Work extensively with Google BigQuery (GBQ) for data storage, transformation, and analytics.

- Build cloud-native data solutions using various GCP services.

- Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.

- Implement data quality, validation, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.

- Collaborate with data architects, developers,



and business teams to deliver robust data solutions.

- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve existing data pipelines.

Mandatory Skills

- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering

- Strong hands-on experience with GCP

- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Dataflow and Apache Beam

- Strong proficiency in Java

- Deep expertise in Google BigQuery (GBQ)

- Strong understanding of batch vs. streaming data processing

- Experience designing cloud-native data architectures

- Good understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL/ELT, and distributed data processing

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer/Airflow, and other GCP services.

- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

- Experience with data pipeline performance and cost optimization.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
