Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating business requirements into scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will possess solid analytical skills, a solid understanding of enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and end-to-end data flows, and be capable of creating technical artifacts such as ERDs, source-to-target mappings, and functional specifications.

This role will work closely with business users, data architects, data engineers, and reporting teams to support enterprise data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business processes, reporting requirements, and data needs.
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical and data requirements.
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions, data models, and visualization logic.
- Understand end-to-end enterprise data flows across operational and analytical systems.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models where required.
- Understand data lineage and document source-to-target mappings.
- Create and maintain Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs).
- Support dashboard and reporting initiatives.




- Validate data transformations and business rules.

Required Skills & Experience Mandatory

- 7+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, or Data Management.
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Excellent understanding of enterprise data architecture concepts.
- Experience designing data models and ERDs.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data structures, data manipulation, data exploration, and data handling using SQL.
- Experienced in querying, cleaning, transforming, validating, and analyzing large datasets to derive actionable business insights.
- Proficient in SQL operations including joins, subqueries, window functions, aggregations, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
- Skilled in exploratory data analysis (EDA), data quality assessment, data profiling, and data preparation for reporting and analytics.
- Ability to understand and document end-to-end data flows.
- Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, or Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts
- Understanding of Data Lake/Data Warehouse architecture
