Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, data analytics, stakeholder management, and data visualization. The candidate will be responsible for exploring and analyzing structured and unstructured data from diverse sources and translating analytical insights into actionable business recommendations.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, understand business challenges, and present data-driven insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple databases.
- Perform data exploration, statistical analysis, modeling, and experimentation to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Design and implement data models and structures to support analytics and reporting requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges, and opportunities and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and effectively communicate analytical findings and recommendations.
- Support campaign management and campaign analytics activities.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions for business users.
- Develop HTML-based reports and use HTML/CSS to improve report presentation and interactivity, if required.
- Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and influence data-driven decision-making.
- Take ownership of complex analytical problems and determine appropriate query, analysis, and visualization approaches.




- Identify and escalate data-related issues, risks, and opportunities appropriately.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and encourage creative, data-driven problem solving.
- Follow software and analytics best practices, including Agile methodologies, coding standards, version control, code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Ensure analytical models and solutions are developed with consideration for fairness, responsible AI, data quality, and potential biases.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of experience as a Data Analyst / Senior Data Analyst
- Strong SQL skills with experience in query development and optimization.
- Strong experience in data analysis, statistics, modeling, and experimentation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with and analyze data from structured and unstructured data sources.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and reporting best practices.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik is an added advantage.
- Experience with campaign management / campaign analytics.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS for reporting is an added advantage.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and software engineering best practices.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.
- Highly numerate with a strong passion for data and analytics.
- Proven ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
