Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant to lead the business and functional design of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, upgrades, and migration projects. You will work directly with business stakeholders to understand how the organization operates, define solution boundaries, and translate business goals into explicit functional specifications that guide implementation.

This is a senior consulting role focused on discovery, solution design, and implementation of governance. You will also ensure that configuration, migration, and testing align with the agreed design before moving to the next stage of the project.

Job Location:Udaipur / Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities Includes: -

- Lead discovery workshops with business and functional stakeholders to understand current processes, business objectives, operational constraints, and success measures.
- Analyze existing ERP landscapes and identify opportunities to improve business processes while minimizing disruption to day-to-day operations.
- Define project scope, priorities, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and implementation approach.
- Conduct fit-gap assessments and recommend whether standard Business Central capabilities, extensions,



or process changes are the most appropriate solution.
- Define functional architecture, data models, security considerations, integration requirements, and user experience expectations.
- Produce detailed functional specifications, process documentation, configuration designs, acceptance criteria, decision logs, and test scenarios.
- Define configuration requirements across Business Central modules and ensure implementation aligns with approved designs.
- Review and approve configuration, migration, and testing work completed by junior consultants and AI-assisted development tools before progression to subsequent project phases.
- Support user acceptance testing by validating business scenarios and ensuring solutions meet agreed functional outcomes.

Qualification & skills required: -

- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of ERP consulting experience, with at least 3+ years focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end Business Central implementations, upgrades, or migration projects.
- Strong understanding of ERP business processes across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Supply Chain, and Operations.
- Experience conducting discovery workshops, requirement gathering, and business process mapping.
- Hands-on experience with data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification (preferred).
- Experience working directly with senior business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
