Specialist - CyberSecurity Heres the with companyspecific references Paramount CBS Pluto TV genericized Primary Responsibilities The Product Security Analyst is an offshore vendorstaffed role that supports the companys Product Security Engineering team by building and maintaining an accurate application inventory and managing team onboarding to the companys ASPM platform Wiz ASPM and Wiz Code This role is part program coordination and part handson platform administration The analyst proactively reaches out to application owners and other stakeholders across the companys various business units to collect and validate application ownership and metadata and directly onboards teams to Wiz ASPM and Wiz Code handling routine access and configuration requests independently while escalating complex cases to the onshore team Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for building and maintaining the companys application inventory working directly with application owners engineering leads and other stakeholders across business units Proactively reach out to application owners and teams to collect validate and fill gaps in application ownership metadata and business context given the current state of the inventory is incomplete Aggregate and maintain application inventory data in a central tracking system reconciling information gathered from stakeholders with what is discoverable in Wiz GitHub and other source systems Manage access requests and onboarding for teams joining Wiz ASPM and Wiz Code including routine account provisioning repository and organization onboarding and basic configuration Apply and maintain application tagging in GitHub and other relevant platforms such as repository topics and custom metadata so that applications are properly attributed to the correct owner and business unit Track outstanding onboarding and inventory requests to closure following up persistently with stakeholders who have not responded Escalate complex onboarding access or configuration issues to the onshore Product Security Engineering team providing full context to speed resolution Maintain clear accurate documentation of inventory status onboarding progress and outstanding gaps for reporting to Product Security Engineering leadership Participate in daily handoff and standup meetings with the onshore team to report status escalate open items and align on priorities Identify opportunities to streamline the inventory collection and onboarding process and share process improvement ideas with the onshore team Additional Qualifications Required 15 years of experience in a technical program coordination IT operations security operations or platform administration role that required significant stakeholder outreach and followup Comfortable initiating and persistently following up on outreach to internal stakeholders across multiple business units including those who may be slow to respond Basic technical understanding of software development concepts application architecture and source control systems such as GitHub sufficient to have informed conversations with engineering teams Working familiarity with access management concepts such as rolebased access and least privilege and comfort performing routine account and access provisioning tasks Robust organizational skills and comfort maintaining and reconciling data across multiple systems spreadsheets and tracking tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills since this role interacts constantly with a wide range of internal stakeholders including nontechnical application owners Ability to work a schedule with a minimum of four hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time business hours Preferred Handson exposure to Wiz Wiz ASPM or Wiz Code or a comparable ASPM or cloud security platform Experience with GitHub organization and repository administration including tagging topics or custom metadata Basic familiarity with product security concepts and terminology such as SAST SCA DAST secrets detection and WAF sufficient to understand what teams are being onboarded to and why Prior experience in a technical project or program coordination role such as IT onboarding vendor management or asset and configuration management Prior experience supporting a distributed or offshore security operations model with formal handoff processes Education Required Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business or a related field or equivalent handson experience Preferred CompTIA Security or an equivalent entrylevel security certification A certification or coursework in IT service management or project coordination such as ITIL Foundatiion
