Job Title: Counter In-Charge / Counter Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: 0-2 years preferred

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (depending on experience and skills)

We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Counter In-Charge who can independently handle the café counter, manage cash and billing, provide excellent customer service, and supervise the counter team.

The ideal candidate should be confident, well-organized, good with customers, and capable of managing the team and ensuring smooth counter operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle the cash counter, billing, and daily transactions accurately.
- Greet and assist customers and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Take customer orders and ensure they are entered correctly.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Manage and supervise the counter team during daily operations.
- Ensure the team follows proper customer service and operational standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure orders are delivered correctly and on time.
- Maintain proper cash handling and ensure there are no billing discrepancies.
- Monitor counter cleanliness and presentation.
- Check daily sales, cash collection, and basic counter reports.




- Ensure sufficient packaging, billing materials, and other counter requirements are available.
- Handle opening and closing counter responsibilities as assigned.
- Report operational issues and customer feedback to management.
- Ensure smooth operations during busy hours and peak periods.

Requirements
- Previous experience in café, restaurant, QSR, retail, or counter operations preferred.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of cash handling and billing/POS systems.
- Ability to manage and guide a small team.
- Positive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Honest, responsible, punctual, and well-groomed.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of daily sales and cash reconciliation will be an advantage.

What We Are Looking For We need someone who can take ownership of the counter, handle customers confidently, manage cash accurately, and ensure the counter team works smoothly without constant supervision.
