Key Responsibilities:

1. Product &

- Manufacturing Costing

- Prepare accurate product costing and cost sheets for sports goods, footwear, accessories and other product categories.

- Analyse raw material, labour, overhead and other manufacturing costs.

- Calculate and monitor standard cost, actual cost and variance.

- Review costing of new product developments and provide cost estimates to the management.

2. Cost Control &

- Analysis

- Analyse cost variances and identify reasons for deviations from standard costs.

- Monitor material consumption, wastage, scrap and production losses.

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved operational efficiency.

- Prepare periodic cost analysis and MIS reports for management.

3. Inventory &

- Material Costing

- Monitor inventory valuation and ensure accurate costing of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.

- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Warehouse and Finance teams for cost-related information.

- Analyse material price variances and consumption variances.

4. Budgeting &

- Financial Support

- Assist in preparation of manufacturing budgets and cost forecasts.

- Monitor actual costs against budgets and highlight significant deviations.

- Support management in pricing decisions, profitability analysis and margin improvement.

5. Reporting &

- Compliance

- Prepare monthly cost reports, product profitability reports and management dashboards.

- Maintain accurate costing records and supporting documentation.





- Assist in internal and statutory audits related to cost and inventory.

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements.

Qualifications &

- Experience

- Qualification: CMA / ICWA (Qualified or Semi-Qualified) preferred. B.Com/M.Com with relevant experience may also be considered.

- Experience: 510 years of relevant experience in Cost Accounting, preferably in a manufacturing organisation.

- Experience in product costing and manufacturing cost analysis is essential.

Required Skills &

- Competencies

- Solid knowledge of Cost Accounting principles and manufacturing costing.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables and data analysis.

- Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting software.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of inventory management and manufacturing processes.

- Attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.

- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

- Accuracy and timeliness of product cost sheets.

- Cost variance analysis and reporting.

- Reduction in manufacturing and material costs.

- Accuracy of inventory valuation.

- Identification and implementation of cost-saving opportunities.

- Timely submission of MIS and management reports.
