Role Description The Copywriter role at Verve Advertising is a full-time, in office position based in Gurugram. In this role, the Copywriter develops clear, compelling copy for campaigns across print, digital, and social channels, aligned with client objectives and brand voice.

Day-to-day tasks include brainstorming concepts with the creative and account teams, drafting and refining headlines, body copy, taglines, and scripts, and adapting messaging for different target audiences and platforms. The Copywriter reviews and edits content for accuracy, consistency, and tone, and supports the creation of press releases and marketing collateral as needed. This role involves collaborating closely with designers and strategists to ensure that ideas not only look good but also perform effectively for the client.

Qualifications

- Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive,



and engaging copy for various formats.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present and explain creative ideas to internal teams and clients.
- Proficient proofreading abilities to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Understanding of marketing principles and how copy contributes to campaign performance and brand positioning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising, English, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior agency or brand-side copywriting experience, especially in retail or lifestyle sectors, is an advantage.
