Engineer- Contracts (Infra Projects)

Apco Infratech Pvt Ltd(www.apcoinfra.com) is urgently looking for Engineer- Contracts (Infra projects)

Must have hands on experience in:

1.Contracts management.

2.Contract Administration.

3.Claims Management.

4.Contracts negotiation.

5.Monitoring and drafting contractual correspondences (From Contractor side).

8.Identification, Quantification and Preparation of claims.

8.Groundwork preparation of claims and arbitrations.

9.Must be familiar with following aspects of Contracts management.

- What are the essential objects of Contract Management.
- Importance of notice provisions.
- How to value variations/Extra items
- Identification of Claims & Variations
- What should be contents of EOT letters
- What are the various Acts relating to Contracts/Arbitration etc
- Importance of contemporary records like, MPRs, Programmes, EOT applications etc & timelines specified
- How to quantify large value Claims & ingredients.
- Difference between Escalation and subsequent legislation Claims
- What are the fundamentals of formation of Contract




- Recovery of Liquidated damages and the basic law relating to it.
- How to realize Claims & Variations during currency of contract.
- Disclaimer Clauses and possible ways to interpret them.
- Various compliances to be met to prove & establish the Claims in litigation.
- Essential Skill sets required for Contract Managers
- The legal aspects of Dispute resolution/Arbitration
- Some of Imp provisions of the Contract Act/Arbitration Act.
- Contract risks evaluation, negotiation on Claims/Variations & to justify.
- What are the good contract management practices.
- Effective management of risks and resolution of conflicts.
- What are the valuable attributes of Arbitrators/Law firms.

Must be BE/ B. Tech( Civil), PGP-ACM(NICMAR) with minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience. Location: Kandarpada, Dahisar (West ), Mumbai
