About The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Auth0 CIAM Developer to design and implement secure, scalable customer identity solutions using Auth0, Terraform, React.js, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and GCP. The role focuses on modern authentication and authorization patterns, application integration, identity lifecycle management, and secure CIAM delivery.

The role involves designing and implementing Auth0-based CIAM solutions across web, mobile, and backend applications. The candidate will develop authentication and authorization flows using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), PKCE, and SAML, along with Auth0 Actions, token customization, custom claims, scopes, and attribute mappings.

The position also covers MFA, adaptive authentication, passwordless authentication, federation, user migration, session management, API security, and fine-grained authorization. The candidate will use Terraform, GitHub, and GitHub Actions for configuration management and CI/CD while collaborating with development, DevOps, architecture, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement Auth0 CIAM solutions across multiple applications and environments.
- Develop authentication and authorization flows using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, PKCE, and SAML.
- Build and maintain Auth0 Actions, custom authentication logic, token customization, claims, scopes, and attribute mappings.
- Integrate Auth0 with web, mobile, backend applications, and API gateways.
- Implement custom login, registration, consent, progressive profiling, account linking, and identity lifecycle workflows.
- Implement MFA, adaptive/risk-based authentication, passwordless login, OTP, magic links, and passkeys/WebAuthn.
- Configure federation with enterprise and social identity providers such as Azure AD, Okta, Ping, Google, and SAML IdPs.
- Implement API security using RBAC/ABAC, JWT validation, JWKS, scopes, audience validation, and token hardening.




- Manage Auth0 configurations using Terraform and support automated deployments through GitHub Actions.
- Implement logging, monitoring, error handling, retry mechanisms, and performance optimization for high-volume CIAM environments.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, architecture, and product teams in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have approximately 9 years of hands-on experience in CIAM and identity solution development, with solid expertise in Auth0, authentication protocols, API security, Terraform, and modern application technologies. The candidate should have strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced Agile environments.
