We are looking for a skilled Continental Commis to join the hotel kitchen team. The candidate will assist in preparing high-quality Continental dishes while maintaining food quality, hygiene, and kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Continental dishes.
- Prepare ingredients through cutting, chopping, marinating, and portioning.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Assist the Chef during daily kitchen operations and service.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor stock and inform senior chefs about ingredient requirements.
- Minimize food wastage through proper preparation and portion control.
- Support buffet,
à la carte, and banquet food production as required.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Continental cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Basic knowledge of sauces, soups, salads, pasta, and continental preparations.
- Strong hygiene and food-safety awareness.
- Valuable teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Good discipline and kitchen organization.
Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
- Relevant hotel or restaurant kitchen experience will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
