Role Description

We’re looking for a Content Writer (Reddit Focus) to join our Mumbai-based team on a full time, hybrid basis. This role centers on creating authentic, community-first content for Reddit. You’ll research relevant subreddits and audience norms, draft posts and comments that read as genuine community contributions rather than ads, and adapt brand narratives to fit Reddit’s tone and culture.

You’ll work closely with strategists to align content with AEO/GEO goals, monitor community response,



and adjust messaging to stay authentic while supporting brand and campaign objectives.

Qualifications

Strong writing skills with a demonstrated ability to write in a native, non-promotional Reddit voice plain, conversational, no corporate tone or forced enthusiasm

Understanding of Reddit culture: subreddit-specific norms, what reads as organic vs. obvious marketing, and how communities react to brand presence

Content strategy and research skills to identify relevant subreddits, audience pain points, and conversation opportunities

Careful proofreading and attention to detail, including avoiding stylistic tells (e.g., overly polished phrasing, em dashes, excessive hedging) that signal AI-generated or corporate copy

Excellent written communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Hands-on familiarity with Reddit as a platform. posting, commenting, karma dynamics plus general knowledge of AI tools and digital marketing; experience in fintech, tech, or agency environments is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
