About the Role

We are hiring a Content Strategist for a fast-growing D2C performance and wellness vertical focused on fitness, sports nutrition and consumer wellness.

The portfolio includes products across protein, creatine, hydration, daily essentials, sleep, recovery and performance nutrition.

The role will be responsible for developing the overall communication strategy across Performance Marketing and Social Media, ensuring content is scientifically credible, culturally relevant, engaging and conversion-focused.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the fitness consumer, sports nutrition ecosystem, D2C marketing, consumer psychology and creator culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop the overall content and communication strategy across Performance Marketing and Social Media.
- Create high-performing hooks, creative angles, scripts, concepts and communication ideas for Meta and other digital platforms.
- Develop multiple creative angles for products based on consumer pain points, benefits, objections and motivations.
- Build social media content strategy across fitness, nutrition, performance, hydration, recovery, sleep and product education.
- Simplify product science and technical information into exciting, easy-to-understand consumer communication.
- Create content briefs, scripts and communication frameworks for creators, influencers, designers and video teams.
- Work closely with the Performance Marketing team to analyse winning creatives and improve hooks,



retention and conversion communication.
- Use consumer insights and performance data to identify new creative opportunities.
- Stay updated on fitness, sports nutrition, social media, creator culture and global content trends.
- Track Indian and international competitors and identify relevant communication opportunities.
- Support product launches, campaigns and new initiatives through strong storytelling and integrated communication.
- Drive creative testing and identify winning content angles, formats and messaging.
- Ensure consistency of communication across paid and organic channels.

Candidate Profile

- 4+ years of experience in Content Strategy, Brand Content, Creative Strategy or Performance Creative Strategy.
- Strong understanding and genuine interest in fitness, sports nutrition, supplements and wellness.
- Experience with D2C, fitness, sports nutrition, health, wellness or consumer brands.
- Strong understanding of consumer psychology, social media content and performance marketing creatives.
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling and script-writing skills.
- Experience creating hooks, creative concepts and communication angles for digital advertising.
- Ability to understand performance metrics and use insights to improve creative output.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, creator culture and emerging content formats.
- Ability to distinguish between content that looks good and content that drives business results.
- Robust creative thinking, ownership and ability to generate fresh ideas consistently.
