Role Description

We are looking for a Content Specialist who will take ownership of how BetterPlace communicates across digital and offline channels, with a strong focus on social media and digital content.

You will work across social media, brand, website, SEO, performance marketing, campaigns and other customer-facing communication. A key part of the role will involve identifying ideas that can translate into engaging social content, developing formats and concepts, writing scripts and copy, and helping BetterPlace create content that people want to watch, read, share and engage with.

The role requires someone who can move comfortably between creative storytelling and structured, informative content while maintaining the sensitivity and credibility expected from a mental healthcare brand.

You will work closely with clinicians, designers, video editors, marketers and other teams to turn ideas, insights and business priorities into content that people understand, trust and engage with.

Key Responsibilities





- Own content across BetterPlace’s social media, website, advertising, email, WhatsApp, print and other communication channels
- Develop and execute content strategies aligned with brand, marketing and business objectives
- Shape BetterPlace’s social media content through strong ideas, formats, scripts, posts, reels, carousels and campaigns
- Identify relevant social media trends, conversations and content opportunities, and adapt them appropriately for the BetterPlace brand
- Write and optimise website pages, blogs and other search-focused content with a strong understanding of SEO
- Translate clinical and mental health information into content that feels simple, accessible, accurate and engaging
- Work closely with clinicians and subject-matter experts to develop credible and useful content
- Collaborate with designers, video editors and marketers to take content from idea to final execution
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and review content across teams for clarity, accuracy and quality
- Track content performance across social media, search and campaigns, and use insights to improve future content

Key Requirements

Excellent writing,



editing and storytelling skills

- Strong understanding of social media content, formats and audience behaviour
- A good instinct for hooks, ideas and formats that can capture attention without compromising the credibility of the brand
- Solid understanding of brand voice, tone and audience
- Ability to write both creative and informative content across different formats
- Working understanding of SEO, digital content and performance marketing
- Ability to simplify complex or technical information into clear and engaging communication
- Strong attention to detail and an instinct for what makes content useful, interesting and easy to understand
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in content, copywriting, social media, brand or digital marketing, preferably in a B2C environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment and taking ownership of a broad and evolving role

Typical Outputs

Social media posts and campaigns, reels and video concepts, video scripts, clinician-led content, website content, SEO pages, blogs, performance ads, campaign copy, emailers, brochures, print collateral and other brand communication.

Compensation: INR 40,000 - 50,000 based on relevant experience
