Our client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking a skilled International Industrial Procurement & Category Management Expert to lead the Industrial Means (E5) and Industrial Supplies (E6) categories across the international region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Industrial Means (E5) and Industrial Supplies (E6) category strategy across the International region, managing approximately €60M annual spend.

- Develop and implement global and cross-regional procurement strategies in collaboration with Regional Procurement, Supply Chain and Business Units.

- Manage strategic supplier relationships, drive supplier consolidation, and expand preferred supplier coverage across categories.

- Negotiate multi-year commercial frameworks covering pricing, volume discounts, service rates, lead times, spare parts and warranty terms.

- Drive cost savings, cost avoidance and productivity improvements through sourcing initiatives, benchmarking and specification optimization.

- Challenge consumption, specifications and over-engineering to identify opportunities for cost and demand optimization.

- Develop alternative and regional sourcing models,



including Asia-for-Global sourcing for MRO and PPE categories.

- Provide Regional Procurement teams with category strategies, benchmarks, supplier intelligence, should-cost models and negotiation playbooks.

- Partner with Procurement Operations and Global Procurement Services to improve procurement efficiency and implement catalogues and procurement programs.

- Act as a key stakeholder SPOC for high-stakes sites, plants and organizations, ensuring effective deployment of procurement strategies.

Skills Required

Key Skills:

- 10+ years of procurement experience

- Strong category management experience

- Indirect procurement exposure

- Industrial/MRO/engineering procurement experience

- Experience managing significant spend

- International/global or multi-country procurement exposure

- Solid supplier negotiation experience

- Strategic sourcing experience

- Stakeholder management with plants/business units

- Project management / project sponsorship experience

- Leadership maturity and a digital mindset.
