Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and management of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
- Conduct OPD consultations and manage admitted patients.
- Evaluate and manage complex cardiac cases, including acute coronary syndromes and other cardiovascular emergencies.
- Perform and independently manage interventional cardiology procedures as per clinical expertise.
- Conduct coronary angiography and PCI, including emergency interventions, as appropriate.
- Manage patients before and after interventional procedures and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Respond to cardiac emergencies and provide timely clinical intervention.
- Coordinate with Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Cardiac Surgery, and other specialties for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Conduct regular clinical rounds and ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
- Review investigations, imaging,
ECGs, echocardiography, and angiography findings to formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide clinical guidance and supervision to junior doctors and residents.
- Maintain accurate medical records and appropriate clinical documentation.
- Follow hospital protocols, clinical guidelines, patient-safety standards, and NABH requirements.
- Maintain high standards of skilled ethics, patient care, and communication.
Candidate Profile
- DM in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of post-DM experience as a Cardiologist.
- Strong expertise in Interventional Cardiology.
- Hands-on experience in coronary angiography and PCI is preferred.
- Ability to manage cardiac emergencies and critically ill cardiac patients.
- Excellent clinical decision-making and communication skills.
- Candidates with experience in reputed multispecialty/super-specialty hospitals will be preferred.
