Role Description The Consultant Cardiac Anaesthesia role is a full-time, on-site position based at Neotia Getwel Multispecialty Hospital in Siliguri. The Consultant will provide perioperative anaesthesia care for cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical patients,



including preoperative assessment, intraoperative management, and postoperative care in intensive care settings.

Responsibilities include performing and supervising anaesthetic procedures, managing complex cardiac emergencies, interpreting relevant diagnostic investigations, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. The role involves close collaboration with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and nursing teams to optimize patient outcomes. The Consultant is also expected to participate in clinical audits, contribute to training and mentoring of junior medical staff, and support continuous improvement in cardiac anaesthesia services.
