Role Description The Teamcenter Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. In this role, the consultant will configure, customize, and maintain Teamcenter solutions to support client PLM processes and business requirements. Daily responsibilities include gathering and analyzing requirements, designing solution workflows, implementing and testing Teamcenter modules, and troubleshooting issues.

The consultant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, prepare technical and functional documentation, and support data migration, integration, and performance optimization activities.



The role also involves advising clients on best practices in PLM, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and participating in project planning and status reviews.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter configuration, customization, and administration, including core modules and PLM workflows.
- Experience with PLM domains such as Simulation Lifecycle Management, Supplier Management, and related engineering data management processes.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting (e.g., Java, C/C++, ITK, SOA, SQL) for extending and integrating Teamcenter functionalities.
- Skills in requirement analysis, solution design, and documentation for consulting and implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience with data migration, system integration, testing, and performance tuning in enterprise environments.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage client expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; relevant PLM or Teamcenter certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or other engineering-focused industries is beneficial.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and contribute to a fast-paced, learning-oriented environment.
