Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Construction Supervisor role located in Chennai.

The Construction

Supervisor will oversee day-to-day activities at the construction site, including coordinating workers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure work is completed on schedule and in line with project plans.

Responsibilities include monitoring construction progress, conducting inspections, enforcing safety protocols, and resolving issues that arise during execution. The role also involves maintaining clear documentation, reporting site status to management, and communicating effectively with project stakeholders.

Supervisor will support quality control, ensure compliance with building codes and company standards, and help maintain a productive and safe work environment.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to manage site teams, coordinate daily activities, monitoring progress and ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with workers, contractors, clients, and project managers.
- Candidates should possess Inspection skills to verify quality of work, materials, and compliance with relevant standards and possess Construction Safety knowledge to implement and enforce safety procedures on-site.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience in construction supervision.
- Proven ability to work on-site in varying conditions and maintain a professional, inclusive work setting.
- Experience: 6 months to 3yrs.
- More importance is given to ability to manage sites, knowledge about it and effective communication than degree and experience.

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Requirement: Local candidates only + Two-wheeler mandatory

Salary: ₹25,000 per month

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexible depending on requirement)
