Job Title: Concrete Pump Operator cum Driver

Department: Operations / Plant

Reporting To: Plant Incharge / Site Engineer

Location: Plant / Project Site

Job Purpose To safely operate the concrete pump and drive the assigned vehicle/equipment to and from project sites, ensuring timely and effective concrete pumping operations while maintaining the equipment in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities1. Concrete Pump Operation

- Operate the concrete pump safely and efficiently as per site requirements.
- Inspect the pump, pipeline, hoses, valves, and accessories before starting operations.
- Properly connect, position, and secure concrete delivery pipelines.
- Monitor concrete flow and pressure during pumping.
- Identify and resolve minor pipeline blockages and operational issues.
- Coordinate with the Plant Incharge, Site Engineer, Transit Mixer Drivers, and site workers for continuous concrete supply.
- Ensure minimum concrete wastage during pumping operations.
- Clean the pump, pipelines, hopper, and related equipment after completion of work.

1. Driving Responsibilities

- Drive the assigned pump vehicle safely to and from the plant, project sites, and other locations.
- Follow all traffic rules and company safety policies.
- Conduct daily checks of vehicle condition, tyres, brakes, lights, oil, coolant, and other essential items.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
- Ensure safe parking and positioning of the vehicle at the project site.
- Carry all required vehicle documents and report any issue or damage immediately.

1. Maintenance & Safety

- Carry out routine lubrication and basic maintenance of the pump and vehicle.
- Report breakdowns, unusual noises, leakage, or other mechanical problems immediately.




- Follow preventive maintenance schedules.
- Use required PPE such as helmet, safety shoes, gloves, reflective jacket, etc.
- Ensure proper and safe positioning of the pump before starting operations.
- Follow all site safety instructions and maintain good housekeeping around the equipment.
- Never operate the equipment in an unsafe condition.

1. Records & Reporting

- Maintain daily records of pump operating hours and site trips.
- Record fuel consumption and basic maintenance activities.
- Report concrete pumping issues, breakdowns, and delays to the Plant Incharge/Site Engineer.
- Complete vehicle/equipment inspection checklists as required.

Qualification & Experience
- Minimum 8th/10th pass; ITI or technical qualification preferred.
- 2–8 years of experience in concrete pump operation and heavy vehicle driving.
- Valid driving licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- Experience in RMC/construction projects will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of concrete pumping equipment and vehicle maintenance.

- Minimum equipment downtime and breakdowns.
- Proper maintenance of pump and vehicle.
- Minimum concrete wastage.
- Compliance with traffic and site safety rules.
- Proper fuel and equipment usage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
