Paul Merchants Finance Private Limited (PMFPL) is an RBI-regulated financial services company and part of the Paul Merchants Group, with a legacy of over 33 years. The Company operates across NBFC lending and PPI/payment services, with a robust focus on governance, compliance, customer-centricity and responsible growth.

We are looking for a Compliance Officer based in Chandigarh to oversee regulatory compliance across our NBFC and PPI businesses. The role will involve monitoring RBI and other regulatory requirements, conducting compliance reviews, regulatory reporting, maintaining compliance trackers, and ensuring timely closure of compliance gaps.

The candidate will work closely with Business, Operations, Finance, Risk, Legal, IT and Internal Audit teams, and will support RBI inspections, regulatory queries, audits, policy updates and compliance reporting.

CS or Graduate/Post-Graduate in Commerce from a reputed institution.
- Relevant experience in an NBFC, Bank, Fintech, Insurance or BFSI organisation is mandatory.
- Good understanding of RBI regulations and regulatory compliance, preferably with exposure to both NBFC and PPI/payment businesses.
- Knowledge of KYC/AML, regulatory reporting, audits and RBI compliance.
- Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and implement them effectively across business processes.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity and ability to work independently.
- Experience in handling RBI inspections, regulatory audits and compliance reporting will be an advantage.
