Communications & Training Lead
Purpose of Role:
To lead the communications, training and enablement capability across global transformation programmes, ensuring stakeholders are informed, equipped and confident to adopt new systems, processes and ways of working. The role owns the end-to-end communications narrative, training strategy, learning content standards, LMS framework and training delivery approach across multiple markets.
Scope:
Global coverage with focus on APAC markets. No direct reports initially; leads communications and training delivery through a hub-and-spoke model, working with market teams, change champions, super users, delivery teams, programme leadership, communications partners and learning specialists. Accountable for building reusable communications, training and LMS assets that can be scaled across future deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the communications and training strategy for transformation programmes, including stakeholder messaging, training approach, learning pathways, delivery cadence, reinforcement and measurement.
- Create, draft, tailor, align and cascade internal and external communications including programme updates, leadership updates, FAQs, market communications, intranet content, change announcements and client-facing content.
- Develop the core programme narrative and ensure all messages are clear, consistent, audience-appropriate and aligned with business outcomes, market context and leadership direction.
- Design the end-to-end training and enablement plan, including curriculum, learner groups, role-based learning paths, training calendar, delivery channels, train-the-trainer approach and reinforcement activities.
- Lead the creation and quality review of training and enablement materials including SOPs, user guides, quick reference guides, process walkthroughs, slide decks, videos, knowledge articles and eLearning modules.
- Build, structure and govern LMS learning content, including course catalogues, learning pathways, course descriptions, learner assignment rules, completion tracking, reporting and content refresh cycles.
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, leadership briefings,
champion briefings and knowledge transfer sessions for end users, super users, change champions, delivery teams and market leadership.
- Establish and manage communications and training governance, including content standards, review and approval workflows, version control, publishing cadence and reusable templates.
- Measure communications reach, training completion, learner feedback, adoption readiness and reinforcement effectiveness; provide concise reporting and actions to programme leadership.
- Build a reusable communications, training and LMS asset library to support repeatable deployment across markets and reduce reliance on vendor-led enablement over time.
Attributes/Technical Skills:
Essential:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex programme, process and system topics for executive, operational, market and client-facing audiences.
- Strong content creation capability across communications, FAQs, leadership updates, market briefings, training decks, SOPs, user guides, quick reference guides and reinforcement materials.
- Instructional design and training expertise, including role-based curriculum design, learning journeys, knowledge checks, reinforcement and adoption-focused enablement.
- Confident training delivery and facilitation skills across virtual, classroom, workshop and train-the-trainer formats.
- Practical LMS experience, including creating course structures, publishing content, managing learner assignments, tracking completions and reporting learning outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and content governance discipline, with the ability to align messages across programme, market, leadership, communications and delivery teams.
- High attention to quality, tone, consistency, version control and audience relevance across all communications and training assets.
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, matrixed transformation environments where requirements, timelines and stakeholder needs evolve.

Desirable:
- Experience with LMS platforms such as Workday Learning, SuccessFactors Learning, Cornerstone, Moodle or equivalent.
- Experience with digital learning tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Microsoft Stream, SharePoint or equivalent.
- Experience supporting enterprise technology adoption programmes such as Enate, Karbon, iManage, QCore, ServiceNow, Jira or similar platforms.
- Experience in professional services, shared services, global delivery hubs or regulated environments.
Relevant Experience:
Essential:
- 10+ years in communications, training, learning and development, digital enablement, change enablement or transformation delivery in complex, global or matrixed organisations.
- Proven experience creating executive communications, stakeholder communications, training strategies, training content, LMS structures and multi-market training delivery plans.
- Demonstrated experience delivering training and enablement for system, process or operating model change, with measurable outcomes such as readiness, completion, adoption or learner feedback.
Desirable:
- Experience building communications and training capabilities for transformation programmes where internal teams need to sustain knowledge after vendor support reduces.
- Experience working across Operations, Finance, HR, Commercial, Technology, Risk or delivery hub teams.
Education and Skilled Qualification:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in communications, learning and development, business, technology, education, transformation or a related discipline.
Desirable:
- Certification in instructional design, learning design, PROSCI, Lean, Six Sigma, digital learning, facilitation or equivalent professional qualification.
