Paper Plane Tales is looking for a Community & Agency Partnerships Lead to build the network that powers global brands. Talent on-Demand curates creative talent and builds bespoke creative teams that drive the growth for some of the country's biggest brands.

You'll discover great talent, build relationships, develop agency partnerships, staff projects and create a community that makes Paper Plane Tales' model work at scale.

It's a great fit for someone from an agency background who is excellent with people , understands how agencies work and wants to move beyond traditional client servicing into something more entrepreneurial.

- 5+ years into your agency career, preferably in account management, operations, partnerships or resource management
- Someone who understands how creative and digital agencies work
- Excellent at building and maintaining relationships
- Naturally good at spotting talent and understanding where people fit
- Comfortable talking to freelancers, agencies, founders and senior professionals
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple moving parts
- Good at negotiating rates, timelines, availability and commercials
- A strong follow-up person

Job Role: Community & Talent

- Build and continuously expand Paper Plane Tales' network of freelancers and independent specialists
- Source, evaluate and onboard talent across creative, content, digital, technology, production and marketing
- Build strong ongoing relationships with our freelancer community
- Maintain a clear understanding of people's skills, experience, rates, availability and strengths
- Identify gaps in our talent pool and proactively build those capabilities

Agency Partnerships

- Identify and build relationships with complementary creative, digital, technology, production and specialist agencies
- Develop a strong partner ecosystem that we can tap into for larger or specialist projects
- Explore collaboration, referral and white-label opportunities with agencies
- Manage ongoing relationships and commercials with agency partners




- Identify opportunities where Paper Plane Tales can partner with agencies rather than build capabilities in-house

Project & Resource Management

- Work with account teams to identify the right talent and partners for each project
- Staff projects and coordinate resources across multiple accounts
- Negotiate commercials, availability and timelines
- Support project costing and resource planning
- Ensure the right people are available at the right time and projects are staffed efficiently
- Maintain quality and reliability across the network

Community Building

- Keep the Paper Plane Tales network engaged and connected
- Build initiatives that make our freelancer and partner network want to stay active with PPT
- Continuously grow the quality, depth and relevance of the network

- 5+ years of experience in a creative, branding, digital or advertising agency
- Strong understanding of creative and digital services
- Excellent people and relationship management skills
- Experience working with freelancers, vendors, agencies or external partners
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills
- Excellent follow-up and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly
- A genuine interest in people, talent, partnerships and the creative industry
