Role Description The Commissioning Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in India. In this role, the engineer will prepare, execute, and document commissioning activities for electrical and automation systems across various industrial sites. Daily tasks include performing electrical testing, configuring and verifying control systems, conducting functional checks, and troubleshooting issues during start-up and handover.

The engineer will collaborate with project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure systems meet technical specifications, safety standards, and performance requirements. The role also involves maintaining accurate records,



preparing test reports, supporting training for client personnel, and providing post-commissioning technical support as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Testing and Testing of industrial systems and components.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience as Commissioning Engineers, including planning and executing commissioning procedures.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting abilities for electrical and automation issues in industrial environments.
- Candidates should possess a sound foundation in Electrical Engineering principles and practical application.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems (Siemens PLC, drives, control panels) and relevant safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in office in industrial conditions.
- Willingness to travel to client locations and adapt to varying project schedules.
- Previous experience in steel, sugar, paper, or ware house automation industry commissioning is an advantage.
