Role Summary
Responsible for following up with government departments/offices on pending payments, coordinating with concerned officials to expedite processing, and keeping management updated on payment status.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly follow up with government department offices/officials on outstanding/pending payments
- Track invoice/bill status submitted to government clients
- Build and maintain good working relationships with relevant department staff for smoother coordination
- Visit government offices as required to submit documents, collect signatures/approvals, or check file status
- Coordinate with internal accounts team to share updated payment status and resolve any documentation gaps causing delays
- Escalate long-pending payments to management with reasons for delay
- Maintain records of visits, correspondence, and payment realization for reporting
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate (any stream); Commerce background preferred
- 5 years of experience in liaisoning, collections, or government office coordination
- Prior experience dealing with government departments/PSUs preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable with in-person follow-ups
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email) for maintaining records
- Willingness to travel locally for office visits
