Role Description The Co-Founder at Ruchs™ will play a central role in shaping the company’s strategy, operations, and growth in the sustainable fashion and fashion-tech space. This full-time, on-site position in Gurugram involves driving business development, leading sales and marketing initiatives, and building strategic partnerships with retailers, technology partners, and investors. The Co-Founder will collaborate on product and collection strategy, oversee research into market trends and customer insights, and support data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Daily responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, representing the brand at events and meetings, refining operational processes, and contributing to fundraising and financial planning. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong ownership, and a passion for sustainability and innovation in the fashion industry.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, assess market trends, and make informed strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders, and to represent the brand externally.
- Proven experience in sales, with the ability to drive revenue growth, manage key accounts, and develop new business opportunities.
- Marketing and brand-building skills, including experience in digital marketing, growth initiatives,



and positioning a consumer-facing brand.
- Research capabilities to explore customer behavior, competitive landscape, and emerging fashion-tech and sustainability trends.
- Background in fashion, retail, sustainability, startup leadership, or related fields is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience in entrepreneurship, operations, or strategic management, preferably in an early-stage or high-growth environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, take ownership of outcomes, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

I’m looking for a passionate, ambitious and execution-driven Co-Founder to join me in building and scaling Ruchs, a recent-age fashion brand with the ambition to go from 1 to 100.

We’re looking for someone who brings strength in one or more of these areas:

- Sales & Business Development- someone who can create opportunities and drive revenue
- Marketing & Growth- someone who understands brands, customers and how to scale
- Finance & Business Strategy- someone comfortable with numbers, unit economics and decision-making
- Entrepreneurial mindset- someone who takes ownership and gets things done

Fashion industry experience is strongly preferred.

? Skin in the Game The ability and willingness to invest in the business and have a financial stake would be preferred, but it is NOT a prerequisite.

What matters more is the mindset, someone who treats Ruchs with the ownership, commitment and dedication they would give to their own brand.

I’m looking for someone who doesn’t just want a job title, but genuinely wants to build something from the ground up and be part of the journey from 1 → 100.
