Role Description The CNC VMC Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring CNC Vertical Machining Centers, ensuring efficient and accurate machining of components according to technical drawings and process plans. Day-to-day tasks include setting up tools and fixtures, loading programs, performing trial runs, and adjusting machine parameters to meet required specifications. The role involves checking parts for dimensional accuracy, maintaining equipment in valuable working condition,
and following safety and quality standards.
The CNC VMC Operator will collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other shop-floor team members to meet production targets and support continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling for CNC VMC equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machining and Milling for precision component manufacturing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control to inspect and verify dimensions and surface finish.
- Relevant technical qualification such as ITI, Diploma, or equivalent in Mechanical, Production, or Tool Engineering.
- Experience operating CNC VMC machines in a manufacturing or tool room environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CNC programs, and process sheets.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, and basic troubleshooting of machines.
- Commitment to safety practices, teamwork, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
