Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CNC Maintenance Engineer role based at HI-FAB’s manufacturing facility in Daman. The CNC Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing CNC machines and related equipment to ensure reliable and efficient production. Daily tasks include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, executing preventive maintenance plans, and coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime.

The role involves documenting maintenance activities, supporting continuous improvement of equipment performance, and adhering to safety and quality standards. The engineer will work closely with colleagues in engineering and operations to keep machinery aligned with production requirements and international quality norms.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical / Electrical

CTC: Up to ₹5.5 LPA

Qualifications

- Solid equipment maintenance skills, including hands-on experience with CNC machines and industrial machinery.
- Maintenance engineering expertise with a focus on diagnostics, root-cause analysis,



and technical problem-solving.
- Experience in maintenance and repair activities, including disassembly, replacement of parts, and calibration of equipment.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, scheduling, and implementation to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Electrical maintenance skills, including basic understanding of control panels, sensors, drives, and safety circuits.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in a CNC-based manufacturing environment, preferably in mechanical seals or precision engineering, is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Familiarity with safety standards, ISO/quality management systems, and good housekeeping practices in industrial settings.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on the shop floor.
