Insurity’s Next Cloud Operations Infrastructure Administrator Insurity is seeking a Cloud Operations Infrastructure Admin to support and improve our cloud infrastructure and production operations. This is a hands-on role for an infrastructure professional with 1–4 years of experience who can work across cloud technologies, follow established operational processes, and contribute to projects that improve reliability, performance, and scalability in our public cloud environments. The person in this role will help support day-to-day operations, implement infrastructure changes, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of Cloud Operations practices and tooling.
What Our Cloud Operations Infrastructure Administrator Will Do
- Support infrastructure and application projects across Cloud Operations environments.
- Monitor system health and performance and help identify operational issues before they become larger problems.
- Apply infrastructure, system, database, and application changes according to established operational processes.
- Document new processes and improvements to existing processes.
- Perform work across multiple areas of technology to support the Cloud Operations team’s applications and infrastructure.
- Investigate and help resolve production issues in a timely manner while working with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Participate in production on-call support and help recover failed automated processes when required.
- Help implement infrastructure, system, and application projects and contribute to ongoing technology improvements.
- Assist with design specifications, process improvements, and automation opportunities within cloud operations.
- Track cloud workplace metrics to help identify growth trends and resource constraints.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and tools relevant to cloud infrastructure and operations.
Who We’re Looking For
- 1–4 years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure administration, systems engineering, or a related production support role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure public cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, systems administration, networking, and production operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support uptime, availability, and service stability.
- Experience following operational processes for system changes, incident response, and production support.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, cloud environment metrics, and systems integration concepts.
- Experience creating automation, scripts, and new process in an infrastructure environment.
- Solid organizational skills, including time management, prioritization, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Clear written and verbal English communication and a willingness to keep learning and growing in cloud operations.
